Keep your child's teeth healthy this Fall!

With all of the gooey treats and candy around this Fall season, it's easy to let the sugar goblins come out to play.  Here are a few tips to keep your teeth healthy during this autumn:

- Tooth brushing following candy consumption with a fluoride containing toothpaste keeps the cavity causing sugar monsters (bacteria) at bay

- Limit candy consumption to one sitting, rather than snacking throughout the day

- Water is always a preferred beverage. After eating a sugary snack, encourage your child to drink water to rinse away the sugars.

- If we haven’t seen you in 6 or more months, schedule a recall appointment so we can make sure your child’s teeth continue to be healthy and beautiful!

The staff at Rochester Pediatric Dentistry wishes you continued happiness and safety this Fall.
