Rochester Pediatric Dentistry is committed to ensuring the safety of our patients, their families, and our staff. We are carefully monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and have updated our policies based on the most current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) information. To prevent further spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, we are asking that you reschedule your appointments if you, your child and/or any of your child's caregivers exhibit any of the following symptoms (or have had these symptoms within the previous 48 hours):
• Cough
• Fever
• Shortness of breath

Additionally, based on CDC recommendations, we ask that you reschedule your appointment if you have traveled to any of the countries that have Level 3 Travel Health Notices (widespread, ongoing transmission/sustained spread) within the last 14 days. Currently, those countries include China, Iran, South Korea, and most of Europe. We also ask that you reschedule if any of your family members have had close contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19.

At our office, we have always followed stringent sterilization procedures and will continue to provide CDC and OSHA-guided Standard Precautions. This includes sterilization and high-level disinfection to prevent cross-contamination of germs between our dental patients. We have removed toys from our play areas and are instituting more frequent disinfection of our waiting room each day. As always, hand hygiene stations that include hand sanitizer are available to our patients and their families as well.

Thank you for doing your part to keep our community safe during this pandemic.
