Keep your child's teeth happy this Halloween

With all of the treats and candy around this Fall season, it's easy to let the "tooth monsters" come out to play.  Remember, the following tips:

- Tooth brushing following candy consumption with a fluoride containing toothpaste keeps the cavity causing "tooth monsters" at bay

- Limit candy consumption to one sitting, rather than coating your child's teeth with sugar several times throughout day

- Water is always a preferred beverage to sugary drinks and sodas

- Visit us every 6 months for regular check ups to avoid worsening cavities and pain causing infections

The staff at Rochester Pediatric Dentistry wishes you a safe Halloween.
